And this season is going to be all about massive growth and massive up-leveling. I know it’s such an overused word, but truly up-leveling in your business. So I’m really excited about that.

[00:00:24] So this episode, I’m going to give you some deets into what to expect from this season. And we’re also going to talk about stepping into that next-level self. So let’s get started. And first, I hope that you enjoy the new intro for the podcast.

[00:00:39] Welcome to the If She Did It Podcast with your host, Business Coach, and Business Bestie, Becky Feigin. This is your one-stop-shop for all things business growth, energetic alignment, strategy, mindset, and a fun touch of spirituality. Nothing is off-limits here, and you’re bound to read every single episode inspired, excited, and ready to take massive action in your business. This podcast was created to help create more badass female CEOs and help you see that business gets to be simple, strategic, and fun. Now let’s dive in.

[00:01:12] OK, so let me just say that I am so excited that I decided to take a little bit of a podcast break and come back with an Episode three, Episode three, Season three, because this is really monumental for me because I am taking big, massive leaps in my business and I’m excited to share that with you and to help you see what this can do for you as well.

[00:01:36] So we’re going to be talking today about stepping into your next level and what you can expect from this season. So let’s start there. What can you expect? So, as I said, this is going to be more advanced, jumping-off points to massively grow. So my beginner besties out there, if you’re listening to this, first of all, you haven’t binged the first two seasons, you better go do that. But this kind of stuff that I’m going to be talking about can be hella inspiring to you as well. So don’t think that this isn’t for you. It’s for everybody.

[00:02:10] But something that I’m stepping into is being a business coach, not just for beginners. And I’m going to share that with you all in this episode. And that’s part of my journey of stepping into the next level. And so this season is going to be a lot about sharing more advanced strategies that I’ve been sitting on that I want to share, that I’m so excited about, you know, things like adaptability, expanding off of just one platform, the importance of having fun while growing your business. We’re going to talk about so much good stuff this season. And we’re also going to have some really, really cool guests on as well. So I’m really excited about it.

[00:02:50] And with that, let’s talk about stepping into your next level because this is a really big thing. Since the beginning of my business, you know, when my business first started, I was a social media manager. Then I shifted into marketing coaching because my background was in digital marketing. And then, you know, basically, since the start of business, I was like, one day I want to be a business coach. And that was my vision. And as soon as I felt that I knew enough and I was comfortable enough and I had enough of the pieces, I decided to become a business coach. And what they always said was, you know, they everyone you always hear it. You only have to be one step ahead of those that you’re helping. You only need to know a little bit more. Right. So I as a marketing coach and as a social media manager landed some clients. I saw growth. I figured some strategies out. And I became a business coach and I was helping beginners because, quite frankly, I was still a little bit of a beginner. I knew a lot, but I was still was less than a year into my business at the time and I didn’t feel comfortable helping anyone else. So I said, this is what I’m going to do. I’m going to help beginners. And over time, what that transformed into is me being the business coach for beginners.

[00:04:00] And for a really long time, I wanted to be the business coach for beginners and only have higher level offers as behind the scenes private invites to clients. But what I started to notice is that a lot of people follow me when they were beginners. But because of my program launch, you know, schedule, they would often join different programs or they would follow me as a beginner once they were already working with the coach and they were like, well, I’m really interested in working with you in the future, but I didn’t have anything for them because it would be it would not be in integrity to get them into the abundant business academy because they were beyond that at that point.

[00:04:41] So, yeah, there could be one on one coaching. But I like having programs beyond just like one on one coaching. So I was like this isn’t working to just be a business coach for beginners because my audience is so much more than that. And I love the higher-level stuff as well. But I’ve been terrified. I’ve been terrified. So I’ve launched a mastermind twice now and I have a couple of girls in both rounds, and it was fun, but I launched it while still marketing myself as a business coach for beginners. How does that work? Like it doesn’t. So with the support of my friends and my coaches, I have finally stepped over the ledge and taken the for beginners out of my bio.

[00:05:24] And I feel like that’s a big stand. And I’m shifting into that next level CEO energy and deciding that, you know what, I have so much more value and so much more knowledge than just for beginners. You know, I’ve been in business now for nearly three years. I’ve made over a quarter of a million dollars in sales. That sounds much fancier than 250 thousand. So that’s why I said that. But I have and I’ve worked with, you know, honestly, in all the capacities that were required to my business, I’ve worked with well over 100 clients closely as well. And I loved every minute of it.

[00:06:02] The Abundant Business Academy is not going anywhere just to be super, super clear. That’s not going anywhere. That is still my bread and butter. But why do we have to label ourselves as a business coach for beginners or a business coach for advanced or whatever it is? It’s like, why can’t I just be me? Like, I have so much to offer and I have so much to share and it doesn’t have to be under a label. And I bet you do too. And I, I know the importance of labeling and the importance of niching down and I teach it and I believe in that. And sometimes our niche in some capacity can be us. Like I call in a certain kind of entrepreneur.

[00:06:43] I really do. I really, really do. And that’s what happens a lot of the time. You call in a certain kind of person and that gets to be your people if that makes sense. So for me, this has been a really scary jump because I feel really tied to beginners and I feel really like I was scared to let that go. And I was like, but SEO, look, I love the SEO people would find me all the time. And I was scared for a while of like, well, what’s that going to mean for future rounds of the business academy? Am I going to fuck myself over for future rounds of that? If I erase this for beginners, from my bio, and from my claims, you know, and that kind of thing.

[00:07:24] But no I can still be the best damn business coach for beginners in my beginner program and be just a business coach in all facets. Right. Like, I just want to give you really quickly, like my rap sheet, my rap sheet. I can’t speak, you know what I’m getting at because I don’t like to own my badassness enough. And y’all are probably like, Becky, this is lame. Like, I don’t wanna hear this. You do want to hear this because I want you to listen to this and notice in what I’m sharing as things that are important as to my expertise and what I can support you in and think of.

[00:08:01] Oh, wow, I didn’t even think of that thing that I did that one time. That can make such a difference. OK, so I want you to listen to these things and realize you have so much more to offer than you’re probably giving yourself credit. So for me, the business has always just made sense. Everything when I look back, everything I want to do in my life had to do with running my own business. I just didn’t see it as such. Right. But that’s what it was. And when I got into college, I went into equine management to own my own barn. Like that’s why I did that. And on the first day of school, I was like, this ain’t for me. And I switched into hospitality to own my own hotel, but it was always to own my own. Like, that was always the vision. And then I realized, like, the customer is always right, is bullshit. Like I don’t want to be in hospitality. And I shifted into journalism. And when I shifted into journalism, I wanted to be the editor in chief of Travel & Leisure magazine. And although that’s not owning my own business, I wanted to be at the top like it’s always my goal to have really big, important jobs. But when I shifted into journalism, this is where my experiences really started to build up that have helped me tremendously in my business and in coaching.

[00:09:15] I was a writer for my school newspaper and that required a lot for I’m like a good fucking writer, first of all. So I help my clients a lot with their writing. But it also required a really important element of like time management and putting yourself out of your comfort zone, because I hated having to interview people as a journalist, but I did and I had no choice, so I had to go do these things. Then I was a features editor. So the feature section, which was like, in my opinion, the coolest part of the newspaper at my school, and I had to manage like over twenty writers and send out like find article topics and send them out to our writers every single week and get them edited and get them to the editor in chief and get it like all setup. For the website and for the newspaper, like I did that I started spoon university at my college and I got a bunch of people involved. I don’t know what happened once I left, but because I started my senior year. But I did start it and I got a bunch of people involved and we ran some events and some of my articles from when I was at spoon, like writing for them still get clicks today. Like I made an article on food delivery services like Hello Fresh and Freshly and all those.

[00:10:33] And I use like links to get people discounts and I still get free meals from that. Like people still click on my links and go and use like Green Chef and shit like that. And it’s really cool. I had a really dope internship too. I interned abroad, abroad in Australia at the time out Sydney like I ran social media for a bourbon distillery right out of college, like I did all that stuff. I was a content strategist for a travel brand before I started my business. I also when I started into journalism the summer before I started as a journalism major, I was traveling around Europe with my sister for 15 days and I decided that I was going to start a travel blog and become a travel blogger to practice my writing. And I did kind of I didn’t have a laptop with me when we traveled. So like best-laid plans of Mice and Men, but I became a blogger and I became and I say in quotes, influencer, it’s so hard for me too, like, claim myself as an influencer. I’d like fifteen hundred followers, but I knew what I was doing and I, I was getting free products in the mail at least two times a week for an entire year. And then when I started my business, I just couldn’t keep up with it anymore. So I stopped doing that and stopped pitching myself.

[00:11:53] But all of that stuff I did and gave me it provided me lessons. And there’s so much more as well. But that’s just some of the things providing me lessons to bring into my business. And there are so many quirks and qualms and different things that I know because of my background. And I’m sure that you have the same. And so we allow ourselves to stay small and say, well, I only know this little piece, but you actually know so much like I’ve been sitting on my MLP certification, not finishing it when I know that it can completely transform my business. So I’m really prioritizing that or I have a confidence coach certification. It was through like Udemy, so I don’t talk about it a lot because I’m like, I don’t know how legit that is, but I learned a lot from it and I can like implement that and I’m obsessed with confidence and confidence can do for you and your business. Like there are just so many things that we don’t realize that we have knowledge of that we can be leaning on to expand ourselves and to expand our businesses. So stepping into your next level is finding what really excites you, but also makes you extremely uncomfortable and pushing yourself off the ledge to just fricken do it. So that’s what I did with deciding to be a business coach for more than just beginners.

[00:13:12] I’m going to be releasing a master class here soon that I am so stoked about. That is a more advanced concept. I’m going to be announcing a mastermind. That’s a more advanced concept that I’m really actually very excited about. And it blends in strategy and what I’m about to bring up, which is this concept of energy and alignment of energy because your energetic alignment is so important in business.

[00:13:46] And I think that where a lot of business coaches go wrong is there’s so a lot of them, not all of them, but a lot of them are so hyper-focused on the strategy because the mindset and the energy in that kind of stuff just isn’t their thing. They don’t necessarily get it. And that’s OK. But that’s why you need people like me because the strategy is just as important as the feminine and like the energy alignment and the spirituality and the mindset. So I find that a lot of times there’s like heavy lifting. There is heavy lifting, masculine coaches that are all about the strategy and that’s all they really focus on. And then you go to the other side of the spectrum and it’s like heavy-leaning feminine coaches and it’s all about the flow. And that’s all that they focus on. We need that middle ground. We need the balancing act. And that’s where I come in because I used to be all strategy.

[00:14:37] I used to be all strategy and all masculine energy, but it wasn’t working. And what really started to work for me was when I was introduced to this element of feminine energy and this balance of putting out and pulling in at once, which changed everything. So that’s really what needs to happen. Actually, when you step into that next level like you need to be so ready to find that balance, and that is something that I am so really what I’m doing is I’m stepping into this next level to then help you step into your next level is really what it’s about.

[00:15:17] Because I have tried like I’m almost like a frickin boomerang, you guys. I have tried to step into the next level and I’m like, holy shit, I’m not ready. I’m not ready to boomerang back to, like, old me. And I’m really fucking ready. And I’m so excited about this. I have gone through so much this year, you guys, in so many different parts of my life and my business in my personal life and my family life, which is so my personal life. But, you know, with friends, with family, with just so much. And I’m just like, I’m so excited for this next step and to bring you with me on this next step and to help you see what is possible for you, just as much as what’s possible for me.

[00:16:05] Because everything that I can do, you can do to you guys like that is such a big thing. And I know I’m like the queen of I know everybody says this, but when I say it, it’s so fucking true. But it really is like I was the girl that when I looked at people, I was like, well, there’s no way I can ever be like them. I’m not smart enough. I’m not pretty enough. I’m not cool enough. I’m not skinny enough. I’m not this enough. It was always that for me. And people will say, I’ve done it, you can do it. I’m like, there is no reason that because you did it, I can too. And I know that I don’t have a massive sob story to be like I was I was at rock bottom. And if I can get up from rock bottom you can too. But I think that what’s really what makes it so possible when I talk about I’ve done it, you can too, is that I have I’ve grown less rapidly than most, but I have grown consistently. So I’ve had at minimum, a 50 percent growth in sales and profit every single year since starting my business. I have had at the time of recording this, I actually had a call with my accountant today and he said to me that I had a 67 percent growth in profit, so money in my pocket between Q1 and Q2 of 2021 in Q1 and Q2 of 2020.

[00:17:27] So I’ve grown by sixty-seven percent from the first half of last year. That’s fucking dope you guys, and that’s fucking dope and it’s sustainable growth. And that’s what I think makes it so possible. I was at my level of rock bottom. I had lost my job, I was laid off and I didn’t know what was next for me. And I started. That’s when I started my business. And I was kind of clueless. I was clueless on how to take my skills and apply them to the online world. I was stuck with that for a little while. And, you know, the piece of acquiring clients always gets a little bit tricky. And that was something that was really hard for me at the beginning.

[00:18:07] But stepping into this next level, balancing out this energy and bringing energy and strategy together and blending that together, that is how I’m stepping into this next level. That is how I am becoming this woman, this coach that is not just a business coach for beginners, but I am your business bestie. I am here to give you the real raw truth. I’m here to support you. I am here to shine a light on you. And I’m here to help you see what your full potential is because I don’t think that you know how fucking dope you are at the moment that you are listening to this.

[00:18:39] I don’t think that you know how fucking dope you are. So get ready for a dope-ass season with so much magic and so much knowledge and so much power. I’m so excited that you’re here.
