[00:00:00] Hello. Hello, and welcome back to the If She Did It Podcast. Today, we have to talk about something really important. We are going to be talking about the deeper meaning or one of the deeper meanings behind the adoptable CEO because becoming an adaptable CEO is more than building an omnipresence. It’s more than just being on multiple platforms. There’s a lot to the adaptable CEO, and I’m really building this out into an entire energy and entire like being an entire way of going about entrepreneurship. And there’s something really important that we need to talk about that’s around pivoting, feeling uninspired in your business, losing the passion. How to find that again. So that’s what we’re going to be talking about today.
[00:00:44] Now, before we dive in, I really want to push you guys and encourage you guys to head to the show notes and download my brand new freebie, the Make Instagram Your Side Chick freebie. But with that, let’s dive into this week’s episode all about being that adaptable CEO in the way of making sure that you’re fully aligned within your business.
[00:02:33] Welcome to the If She Did It podcast with your host, business coach, and business bestie Becky Feigin. This is your one-stop-shop for all things business growth, energetic alignment, strategy mindset, and a fun touch of spirituality. Nothing is off-limits here, and you’re bound to lead every single episode inspired, excited, and ready to take massive action in your business. This podcast was created to help create more badass female CEOs and help you see that business gets to be simple, strategic, and fun. Now let’s dive in.
[00:03:06] Ok chickies, let’s get started. So I will say that this was not initially what I was going to be talking about this week, but I felt really called to do this. So I want to preface by sharing with you that the background of building all this adaptable CEO concept really came from me and how I was showing up in my business. And this idea of constantly being adaptable but being adaptable isn’t just about being with the times when it comes to digital marketing and what’s working in the online world and where you need a shift and how to expand and have an omnipresence.
[00:03:40] It’s about so much more. And one really big piece about being adaptable is being open to change and realizing when you need to shift in your business. So I am going to be super vulnerable, open, real, raw with you all right now and share that. I feel like this happens a lot with me where I go through weeks, if not months, of feeling super unaligned to my business. And it kind of sucks, right? And I had a call with one of my group programs today, the Abundant Business Academy, and we’re halfway through the program, and a lot of the badasses in this program are actually realizing that they want to shift partially what they’re doing at this point in the program.
[00:04:23] Some of them were like being hard on themselves about it for like shifting. And I said You know what? I celebrate you because I wish I had the bravery and the belief in myself to shift such a big thing, like shifting essentially everything that you’ve been building for the past couple of weeks or the past eight weeks. I wish I had the bravery to do that and make that shift when I was first starting because I think that my business structure maybe would have looked a little bit different and been more aligned. I’m super proud of all the success I’ve had in my business. Don’t get me wrong and I love the abundant business academy and I love that I was able to leverage that program pretty much just scaled to multiple six figures in my business. That being said, that program needs a reboot. And so this is me being vulnerable and open to share that the Abundant Business Academy isn’t going to look like the abundant business academy when it launches in the New Year.
[00:05:19] It’s going to be different in a good way. I think that it’s almost too much content, and to balance that out, I extended the program and made it a four-month program. But quite frankly, I don’t think that is what needed to have happened. I think the program structure needs to change, and I think that what’s, taught and it needs to change and then it needs to be broken up actually into two different programs. And I’m really excited about these shifts. So if you’re listening to this and you are a newer entrepreneur, keep your eyes open because these shifts are going to be really big and it’s going to be more accessible than ever for you.
[00:05:58] So I am actually very, very excited about it. But with that being said, you know, that came from me feeling super out of alignment, realizing, you know what, I can shake things up and I can, you know, break things up and do things differently and make a hell of a lot of money doing it. And I got really, really excited about it. So that is what I’m going to be doing next year, and I’m really excited to bring that to fruition. That being said, that came from me being willing to adapt, being willing to adapt and shake up what I have been doing as a constant in my business since the day I started.
[00:06:40] The Abundant Business Academy is not going anywhere. It’s still going to exist. It’s just going to exist in a different way than it’s ever existed before. And that’s scary for me, that’s really, really scary for me, and the fact that I’m putting this out there into the world means that I have to do it now. But it’s exciting and it’s going to make a really big difference for me and for you and for the future of my business. And that’s because I was willing to adapt. I was willing to adapt. So.
[00:07:11] That’s my back story to opening up this conversation with you about the need to be open to adapting. So if you are seeing consistency in your business, seeing success in your business, landing clients, but you don’t feel aligned or excited or fulfilled or challenged, it’s OK to shake things up. It’s OK to decide that you want to trash everything, everything that you have done so far and completely make a pivot. This doesn’t mean that you have to completely restart your business. This doesn’t mean that you’re working with. I mean, it could mean that you’re completely changing who your dream client is and everything. But really, what this is about is finding what would make you so freaking happy and doing that. Like, that’s really what this is about, finding what would make you so unbelievably happy and making sure that that is what you focus on because you deserve nothing more than to be so happy and feel so fulfilled.
[00:08:16] Like, I mean that wholeheartedly. So my intention with this episode is to help you see that you are worthy of making this happen for yourself. You deserve this. You deserve this. So what does it look like to pivot? What does it look like to adapt? It looks like, and I’m going to slightly repeat myself, but it looks like realizing that you need a change, realizing that your business doesn’t excite you as much as it once did, realizing that the product suite that you have created is maybe not as sustainable and scalable as you once thought it was.
[00:08:56] And the next thing is to be OK with that for a minute. And to love yourself for that and to tell yourself that, you know what? That’s fine. That happens. There’s no judgment here. It’s OK. And to, you know, maybe you need to do a little bit of mourning for what you’re about to release. That’s very possible. But the reality is, becoming an entrepreneur is one of the most life changing things that you can ever do. You are going to go through so many rebirths. You are going to go through so many ego deaths. You are going to release toxic people from your life. You are going to become the best version of yourself. Most likely, I hope. And with that, you become a new person.
[00:09:38] I am a completely different person than I was when I started my business in twenty-eighteen. I am a completely different person than I was when I created the Abundant Business Academy in Twenty Nineteen, and I have been holding on to the Abundant Business Academy and I have tweaked it and I have updated it and I have upgraded it. But I think it needs a total revamp. And you’ll see what I mean in the future. I will share it with you all. Don’t you worry. But, you know, realizing that about what you’ve created, there’s nothing wrong with that. So honor yourself and celebrate yourself for being willing to make a change because making a change is scary.
[00:10:14] You know, when you get really comfortable in your business and you have an offer that you’ve sold consistently to decide that it doesn’t serve you anymore and you want to kind of start fresh, it’s like it’s a scary thing. So be OK with that. But so from there to really adapt, what you want to do is you want to make sure that what you create next is so wanted and so needed. So you want to make sure that this is something that your audience is interested in. So that’s where I think that one of the most magical things that you could do when you’re willing to adapt, you are willing to go back to the basics.
[00:10:51] There is nothing wrong with going back to the basics. There’s this like energy and like perception in the online world that you get to a specific point in your business where like, you’re too good to get on a market research call, you’re too good to get on a coffee chat with somebody that you’ve never met before. And that’s not true. You’re never too good for that kind of stuff. I know for me, I have like hella anxiety. You guys like that my anxiety is really bad. I’ve actually recorded a couple of podcasts episodes on it, and for me, I was really grateful for the point where, like, I didn’t feel like I needed to get on coffee chats and stuff because they made me so anxious and I hated them. Even if I talk to, like dope people, I’ve made some best friends from having coffee chats, but they just really used to make me so anxious when I would have that first call that I started to avoid them like the plague as soon as it didn’t feel like it was something I needed to do anymore. But you know what, you guys I’ve made like a new really close friend in the online space and in a while in a while. And I love making friends, so it kind of sucks, you know? So I think it’s just really important to remember that there is nothing wrong with going back to the basics.
[00:11:59] You deserve to get to go back to the basics. So when we’re willing to adapt and become that adaptable CEO, the adaptable CEO energy, the adaptable CEO vibe is like, we’re no better than anyone else. We are equals, we are equals and we just happen to have an area of expertise that our dream client does not have and is in need of. But other than that, we are fucking equals. You hear me, you hear me. Remember that? So this adaptable CEO energy is that we are willing to adapt by realizing that our dream, our product suite, doesn’t serve us anymore and to identify how to really shift our product suite in a way that serves us and our dream clients are to get on coffee chats with our dream clients to get on market research calls with our dream clients. That is what we have to be doing. That is so important.
[00:12:48] Ok. So from there. We make a plan to get on some market research calls, we get really, really clear on what is needed and then we pivot. We make a pivot. We decide PIVOT. I feel like I should play Ross from friends right now. Pivot, pivot. That would be really funny. Anyway, we decide that we are deserving of making that shift and becoming hella adaptable and becoming, you know, the best version of ourselves.
[00:13:23] Because here’s the thing when you are in alignment with what you’re offering with what you’re creating, with how you’re showing up, everything gets to change. Let me tell you right now I have been in like stagnant energy for so many months now, trying to rack my brain for offers to create and feeling so lost. Yesterday, I announced to my coach in the program that I’m in, that I was going to think that I was thinking that I was going to trash ABA and revamp it and then create like upsells from there. And I came up with three new offers yesterday in the span of an hour while just sitting down, writing out what the new flow can look like. So when you really put your heart and soul into something, you can make magic, you guys.
[00:14:11] So when you’re in alignment, the ideas flow, the energy flows, the excitement flows, and when that’s flowing like that and you have that energy and that alignment and that excitement. People feel that in you and people feel that in a way that they get energetically attracted to you. And we could talk about that on another episode because energetics and attraction marketing, I think, go hand in hand and it’s so fucking fun for me to talk about. But that is the thing I have been lacking passion for so many months now, and I’m just tired.
[00:14:45] You guys, I’m really fucking tired. And I realized that I needed to find some fun if I wanted to really see more growth in my business. And so I started to build that right and you deserve to build that too. So backing up for a second, you’ve identified that you need to adapt, you need to make a shift, you need a pivot, so you make that identification, then you give yourself a moment to mourn that that death essentially of what you’ve known and what’s been your norm for however long. And then you get into. Let me strip back into the basics. Let me strip back into the simplicities and get on some fucking coffee chats, get on some market research calls and get really, really clear with what your dream client wants and needs and then create from that place and you’re going to create some dope shit. I’m telling you right now you’re going to create some dope shit. And then put it out there, and that’s the energy of adapting and being that adaptable CEO, it’s really it’s that simple, but I want to like the really biggest intention of doing this episode was to make it hella hella clear to you that it is so OK and so acceptable to just decide that you want to pivot and you want to adapt and you want to make a shift. And I celebrate you for it and I want you to feel good about it.
[00:16:12] So this isn’t going to be a super long episode. That’s really what I wanted to put out there for you guys and share with you. I want you to be willing to adapt and really embody that adaptable CEO energy. I believe in you. I know that you can do it. So now I want you to get out there and do the damn thing. Get out there and do the damn thing because you deserve that for yourself. You owe it to yourself to get out there and do the damn thing. Ok, so go do it. I love you. You’re amazing.
[00:16:38] Next week’s episode is going to be fire, so come back here next week for that episode. Make sure to leave a review and take a screenshot of this episode. Tag me on Instagram so that you can be entered for coffee on me. As I was recording this episode, I had this download to offer somebody a free coaching call as well. So if you want a free coaching call with me 30 minutes me and you, maybe we can adapt together. Plan your pivot, leave a review and I’m going to pick somebody to win a free coaching call with me. So go do that. I love you. I will see you next week on the If She Did It Podcast and I hope you have a fabulous week.
